This quick guide is to help those interested in purchasing an Encrypted Vircurvault Bitcoin Wallet generate an Intermediate Code to be include with their order.

How to Generate an Intermediate Code using Casasacius Bitcion Address Utility

1. Download and unzip the btcaddress-alpha.zip file found here.
2. Open the BtcAddress.exe file and select Tools > Two-Factor Bitcoin Tools > Intermediate Code Generator.
3. Create a passphrase and keep it safe for later. Do NOT forget it. You will need this passphrase to decrypt the Encrypted Private Key that is generated later.
4. After entering the passphrase on this screen, click Generate and copy and paste the resulting code in your Bitpay invoice.

This will allow us to generate a wallet with a Public Address you can deposit to, and an encrypted Private Key that can’t be decrypted without the passphrase you created in step #3.
